Clint Eastwood...

So I know everyone often jokes within their clique of friends about each others nationality. But, things never get real intense. Clint Eastwood thinks that we should all be able to joke with each other about our nationality's making "harmless" jokes.

Check it.

Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood laments the loss of old-fashioned humour in today's society - insisting he should be able to tell harmless jokes about nationality without fear of people branding him a "racist".

The Dirty Harry star, 79, is adamant that modern culture has become humourless, and accuses younger generations of spending too much time trying to avoid being offensive.

He says, "People have lost their sense of humour. In former times we constantly made jokes about different races. You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth or you will be insulted as a racist.

"I find that ridiculous. In those earlier days every friendly clique had a 'Sam the Jew' or 'Jose the Mexican' - but we didn't think anything of it or have a racist thought. It was just normal that we made jokes based on our nationality or ethnicity. That was never a problem. I don't want to be politically correct. We're all spending too much time and energy trying to be politically correct about everything."

I have to say that I disagree with him. He fails to realize that though he may have made jokes and such within his groups you cannot just walk up to anyone on the street and say some "harmless joke" about their nationality. The same way you cannot make a public statement or do some cartoon strip that is ment to be harmless and say that it was not directed towards Obama. Things like this being said are much more than a simple harmless joke. They can escalate into things that are much more serve and there's no reason for it to even be taken there.
Really tho... This is a hot mess! I seen this on Kiwi's Blog. I just came across her's today & I liked it.

Four eyes!

Most people don't realize that I have been visually impaired since I was about 12 lol. I never wanted to wear glasses. When I first went to the eye doc. I got my perscription back then but moms wouldn't let me get contacts. So, I sucked it up and wore those hideous glasses for almost a whole year. Going into 8th grade my mom finally decided to let me try contacts and those had became the loves of my life ever since then. As i've grown older and the style of glasses has changed I decided that I needed a pair of glasses to wear. For one it's not good to wear your contacts all the time and I would sleep in them almost all the time because I didn't like to take them out because I couldn't see anything! So, in January of this year I finally invested in a pair of Specs. At first I was still pretty skeptical of them. They were 100% comfortable and would make my head hurt after awhile. It's now about a month and a half that i've had my glasses and I LOVE them! It really comes in handy to have something else to switch my style up some. They are Prada, It took me awhile to find some good frames that I liked and that fit my face well. I finally choose my black and oranges. Pretty Fly!

These are those bad boys! Don't mind my hair lol, I had just washed it!

Despite the fact that I'm tall my boobs still give me this random killer back aches! I HATE this!
So I'm going full force into my little get fit month. I've been doing really well on it thus far. For the next two weeks (hopefully for longer but I am going to set my self at two weeks to begin with) I will be drinking mainly only water. I have this strong love for juice. I can have a cup in the morning with breakfast or coffee but I cannot continue to drink these things frequently through out the day. I've been working out about 3-4 times a week I'm going to up that this week. I've been doing Pilaties (sp) at home which feels wonderful. I may go to one of the sessions offered on campus sometime this week depending on the times they are available. I got too many wonderful trips coming up in my life so I've been working on shedding some pounds! Well actually just toning my stomach and thighs a little more is what I really need to do! Wish me luck!

Have you ever just felt like moving some where else. Even if it wasn't for the rest of your life just for a little while. From the first time I visited California I fell in love. There was something about the atmosphere that turned me on. I love the weather and I'm a big beach fan. Something I don't get to take an opportunity of here in Washington. During my senior year of high school I original applied to Cal State LA. I got in but, there was a lot of run around things that wanted me to do still and I wouldn't have known how much Financial Aid I would have received until August 2007. Looking back on the whole thing I should have just went but, there were a few reason I decided not to go. Two years later I know that I need a change in my life. I know that I need to experience life else where outside of Washington for awhile. I'm considering re-applying to Cal State LA and Applying to Cal State Long Beach. I'm looking towards Winter 2010, so I wouldn't start there until Jan 2010. That would give me time to continue saving money and finding a place to stay. Sometimes, I know I hold myself back. I've always wanted to go to school out of state and I have two years left before I'll have my bachelors degree anyways so why not take that move? Why not expand my horizon and do something to better myself? *Shrugs* I hope I make the right decision for myself.

Weave Saves Woman's Life

Now, this was original just sent to me on facebook from a old high school associate. If this wasn't a new story I don't think I would believe it. This is crazy. I must admit I did laugh when I first watched it, It's not funny under the circumstance but, to think a weave could save your life. I had a sew in last year and I never thought that it could be vital to me health! Besides allowing my natural hair to get hella long. Check it out.

Y-E-L-L Bulldogs Yell... G H S!

So.. searching youtube I decided to type in the famous Garfield High School and see what would come up. Anything recent you know. I came across some of Class of 2006 seniors videos. Man, that was my best year at GHS. All my mains were seniors, I was doing senior things despite the fact I was only a junior. Times were real koo back then, no worries or anything! Watching both of these video's really makes me miss certain aspect of Highschool. Mainly Alder, many memoires were created there. Haha, I mean MANY endless memoires. I really did enjoy my highschool years. AHHHH I miss my doooogggsss!!! Lol.

Cuz I'm Real

"Blowin back on this Mary Jane, I'm analyzin the game"

I must admit this use to be one of my favorite songs! Hell, I still feel it when this song comes on, which is rarely. But, this song brings back a lot of memories! I know this whole song by heart, yeah yeah. Plus, I know I'm not the only one who loved this song at some point in their life!

Jennifer Lopez feat. Ja Rule-İm Real -

How do you feel?

Now to me this doesn't make much sense at all. Now, I see nothing at all wrong with being a single mother. I actually give credit to women who take on this challenge. But, as hard as it is for a women to be a single parent to one or two children how can you manage 14 children? She says that she always wanted a big family because she was a isolated as an only child. I have a younger brother, we only have the same dad so most of the time it was just me. Technically on my mom's side I was an only child. I myself have said that I want to have more than one child because I know I always wanted a sister or a brother that was in the same household so we could grow together. I will be able to provide for all my children. She talks about how she wants to finish her master's degree in counseling. How are you going to raise 14 children, provide for them, and go back to school? Yeah, of course I know people do this all the time. I myself say that if I have a child while I'm in school that is what I will do. But, with 14 kids? She says that she'll send them to a daycare on the schools campus, last time I checked most days cares have a limited number of spaces based on the number of trained employee's that they have. I doubt there is enough space on a college campus for all 14 of her children. She already had 6 children prior to the 8 she just had. Why didn't she wait to finish school and then continue on to have more children once she knew she was able to do all the things she wants to do? I'm not trying to knock her or be judgmental but come on, she isn't being too realistic about this whole situation. She doesn't want help from anyone beside her family, friends, and her church. But, is she honestly going to turn down any other offers of donoations that people may offer to her? I doubt it.

I want to know other people outtakes on this whole ordeal. So, share your opinions!

He's a new man

Yeah yeah yeah, I already touched on this subject. Who gives? I came across the actual footage of him getting his hair cute. He's a new man, the old man never left!

South Side

Now I must admit. One of the things I dislike about living on the west coast is that we get everything HELLA late. In this case I'm speaking on music. Things get here years after they have been released in the south. I went to Atlanta august 07' and got some mix tapes from the swap meat that had some real hot tracks on them. Some that of course never even made it to the west coast period. There's something about the style of the music that comes from the south that I love. I find it funny that people are just now fully catching onto the Stanky Leg. It's been out since last summer! Of course it's just now making it mainstream. One benefit to having family in the south is that they will sometime shares the titles of songs or the artist that are currently hot. I had came across this video before and it's one of the best version that i've seen. He's a mess but he kills it!

I need a vaaay-cation!

I'm very excited for these upcoming few weeks in my life! So I was able to find another plane ticket at a reasonable prices. Still under 200 so that's all that matters! I haven't been to LA since I was around the age of 9. I went to San Francisco last year but, that is a totally different place than LA. There are so many places that I want to go while I'm there. I hope the weather is nice during my stay I really need some time to relax on the beach! (Pictured is Malibu... I've always wanted to go there.. I'll be making a stop there!) Maybe I should buy a new bathing suit!? haha, not like I'm gonna wear it anytime soon! I have been planning on go to LA for the past two years now and I finally decided to book a ticket and just go. I know i'm going to enjoy my stay because I am staying with some of my good friends that I have known since my Freshman year of highschool. I haven't hung out with them all together in a long time so i'm excited. I checked the Lakers schedule to see if they were going to be in town. And with my luck EVERY single game that occurs during the time frame while i'll be there is an away game. I hate that Seattle doesn't have a basketball team at the moment. I miss going to games not to see the Sonics but usually to see the oppents. Fred and I had made it a tradition to go to every game when Kobe was in town but, that's something we can no longer do! I love basketball and I hate not being able to go to professional games! I'm hoping I get to see my Friend AK while i'm down there. He lives not to far from Pasadena and he claims that he will stop by or meet up with us but who knows. I'm surly not gonna get my hopes up! It would be nice to see an old friend! We keep in touch here and there. He's married and has a daughter now so he has his family life which keeps him very busy. I wish Fred was going but, that's okay we're going to Vegas so that makes up for it. LA is going to be fun, I already know it! It'll be nice to get away from Seattle for a few days.. well it's not like I live in Seattle so let me say it'll be nice to get away from this freezing Cheney weather for awhile from some nice westcoast sunshine!

On another note, I've been working out a lot latley. Part of my new years resolution that i'm actully sticking to this year. My main goals were to flatten my stomach and tone my thighs. I must say that I am indeed noticing a change in my tummy. I got about a month till LA so let's see what I can pull out between then and now. I actully enjoy working out now, I head to the gym up on campus for about an hour 3-4 days a week and pop in my Pilates DVD and do that at home on a daily basis. I did them in the past and they really do help shape and tone your body. So, I need to get back on my routines so that I can have my body looking like I want it. Everybody always tells me that I'm fine the way I am and they wish they had my thick thighs and ass but a girl got neccessites for herself! Slim tummy and i'll be good!

Los Angeles

So, I was randomly surfing the net last night. Doing one of my daily rounds on travelocity to check out ticket prices. I type in Sea to Lax and was overwhelmed when I seen a ticket price of $146 round trip! I had been talking about going to visit all my loves whom currently resides down there. We're planning it out and everything, I tell myself i'll order the ticket in the mourning considering I always consult with my granny since she is often my better judgement about things. I get home from campus hop on my laptop and type in travelocity.... Come to find out the ticket price has gone up! I should have held the price last night but, I wasn't thinking about it at all! I was pissed, well not really but I was like I knew it! The current price is still decently cheap, it's still under $200. I'm going to do a bit of web surfing and see if I can find a site still offering the $146. Wish me luck!

Phenomenal Woman

This by far is one of my favorite poems. I've always felt that I can relate to this a lot. Enjoy!

Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It's the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can't touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
I say,
It's in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I'm a woman

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed.
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need of my care,
'Cause I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me.

Dress Shopping!!

So, I have two occasions coming up in which I want a dress to step out in. In march i'm stepping out with my best friend/cousin who's coming up from Atlanta for her spring break, hitting up the town and going to Canada. Then in May were headed to Vegas for our birthday and you know a girl has to be fly! I have a good selection of things already in my closet that I can easily throw on and be ready. But, I'm in the need of something new! I can't seem to make up my mind! I have spent much of today looking around online for some ideas, here are somethings that i've found that I'm diggin'. I have still yet to find that one that just captures my heart as the perfect dress! But, hopefully i'll find something!! If anyone knows of any good sites please let me know!

#1. This is simple but I like it. I have enough to fully fill this dress out up top like the model and I love my legs. This would even look good if I wanted to throw on a pair of jeans to be more casual or a pair of leggings. This can be used in many alternating ways.

#2. This very simple. But, with the right pair of heels and the right accesories this will be nice! More so of a casual evening out.

#3. I really like this one! And ever since my prom dress i've grown to love the way this color looks on me! This is something that I know i'm gonna end up with for sure.

#4. Now, i'm very skeptical about this. I love the colors that are in it. But, I'm just not sure. Maybe it's the fact that the model dosen't really fill out the dress? I think that is what it is. I think this would be a nice dress to step out in during the day or if your going somewhere more laid back. What do you think?

#5. Same with this one here. I'm not sure if I like the thicker staps but, I do enjoy these colors. I seen some pumps that would match this perfectly and they were fly. Filling this dress out some would surly work magic!

#6. Now I really like this dress. But, i've never been a big fan of halter top dress. My boobs seem to always want to fall out! If I could make them stay in I could work this!

#7. Same with this one I love this! Along with the heels she is wearing! The print on this dress is beautiful and very unique for this style of dress considering it looks as if it is a basic cotton. I love the belt and the bottons going up the middle.

#8. Skeptical about this one aswell. I love the red with the black, So, I guess I like it. It's kinda ruffly up top and i'm one that not a big fan of ruffles. But It's kinda cute.

#9 Now this is fly! Simple but it is something that can easily be jazzed up. I already have plenty of heels that will work with this. This is a must have.

#1o. I like this. More for a summer day though. This would work well for a day spent walking on trip in that blazing sun. Allowing my body to capture that tan that I am in need of!

Now these babys right there. Those are fly!!! I don't even know where and when I would wear these but these are on my list of things that I am going to buy in upcomming months. They consist of my favorite color and this are patent leather, which is one of my favorite materials! They are pricey but, when I want something I get it! Gosh, these shoes just make me melt for some reason!

At least he has a skill to fall back on... right?

So, I always watch the all-star game every year. Now, I must say I was not expecting this at all! I've seen Shaq play and dance around prior to games before. But, never have I seen him get down like this! So, when he's old and rusted with no Basketball skills left within him this is where we will see him...

Now, I must say I was impressed lol, and entertained at the same time! He made my night with this. At least we know he has a skill that he can fall back on right? When he's tired of missing free throws he can hop on with America's Best Dance Crew and get down! Between him and Rasheed I don't know who got more gigs!

And the drama continues on...

So, like everyone else I'm pretty much tired of hearing about Chris and Rihanna! But, I came across this on youtube and was actually amused at how much time this dude decided to spend making this video. He's hella stupid.

I do wonder what really happened. But, they are human just like the rest of us and shit happens sometime right? I'd be mad though, there are countless rumors going around about the two. To me the whole getting an STD from Jay-Z can't be true. That means Beyonce would have one too. Naaaw. I think that everyone just needs to wait until Chris is actually convicted of something.

Oh, what is going on in the world!

Allen Iverson; A new man

So, as most of us know by now Allen Iverson chopped off his braids. I must admit I never seen this day coming. He has always been a basketball player that I've had great interest in ever since his college days.

I've always been one to wonder what he might look like without braids at this age. Would he still be cute? Well that has been answered! I must say he is still fine to me without his braids. I think it is more appropriate for him anyways at this point in his career.

As he stated during the all star game, "Obama's president now, so it's time for change."

Check him out!

Finally!

So, I've thought for a long time on whether I wanted to make myself one of these or not. As you can see I've decided to make my way onto blogspot to express myself and share things that i've found interesting. So, we shall see how this works out!
